Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the egoless nature of Being and the Knowledge that is transcendent of the concept “I know this.” Dialogues on the subtler than the subtlest, inquiry and meditation on a heart center, egoless Consciousness and the destruction of false assumptions, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Annapurna Upanishad and in Tamil from chapter 19 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quotes from Satsang ******
“I know this” such is the characteristic of ignorance. True Knowledge transcends that. Knowledge of Reality is “I-less” and without a sense of “this.” When we have the idea “I know this,” it is not truly Existence or Reality that is perceived or we may say that the Reality is misperceived. If Existence itself were to be known free of “this,” that is, without name and form, without the conceived or the perceived, and free of the “I,” what would it be? The Consciousness that knows it is it – there is no difference or duality here. If inquiring deeply and steadily and consistently, “Who am I?” you realize your being as it is. Then who knows what? Where there is not the least trace of a world to be experienced, who knows what? Where there is not the least trace of a possibility of an ego to be a conceiver, an experience or a perceiver, then who knows what?
