Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on one’s true Being, Self-inquiry, and the nondual nature of Existence. Dialogues on absolute Oneness, doubting the doubter, astrological calculations and the unborn Consciousness, grace and self-effort, the meaning of the scriptures, freedom from the misidentification of being a performer of action, the bodiless Self, and other topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Svetasvatara Upanishad.
****** Quote from Satsang ******
Questioner:
Can it be determined which minds will be released from bondage?
Nome:
Minds do not get released from bondage, one gains release from the idea that there is an existent mind and bondage.
Questioner:
Can you say that again? (laughter)
Nome:
Minds do not get released, though we speak of such. Rather one is released from the idea of an existent mind and existent bondage. The individual does not gain freedom; you realize freedom from the individual. This absolute, invariable, beginning-less, endless real nature, is the Reality, that which is. The purpose of the Veda-s, in highest Truth, is the revelation of that.
