Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the Knowledge of the Self as that which ever exists to realize the fullness of innate bliss. Dialogues on Self-inquiry, the value of questions, the ever-existent as the sole-existent, listening to the wise, the not-Self, Being beyond the body and mind, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from Taittiriya Upanishad, followed by Tamil recitation from Song of Ribhu, chapter 9.
****** Quote from Satsang ******
Questioner: Ö if some ignorance is needed then it would take care of itself Ö
Nome: Why would ignorance ever be needed? The real thing is not affected by an ignorant notion. Something entirely unreal cannot be said to be needed. The ego does not actually exist so how can it be good for anything?
Questioner: So there would be no reason to hold back on release of ideas?
Nome: Well first know what you are and see if there is a need to release anything. So if you donít want to maintain the illusion of samsara, be without an ego. To be without an ego, see if it exists. To see if it exists, inquire as to what your real nature is.
