Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the meaning of “One without a second.” Dialogues on freedom from misidentification with a body, Self-inquiry, ego-lessness, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Taittiriya Upanishad and in Tamil from chapter 33 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quotes from Satsang ******
If you do not inquire into it (the ignorance of being a body), it becomes the burden of birth and death. If it is not examined and taken for granted, it becomes the entire samsara, the repetitive cycle of illusion. It leads to all kinds of bondage and suffering, none of which is real, but it seems real as long as the misidentification is held onto. Free of that misidentification, your innately birthless and indestructible nature is self-evident. Free of that misidentification, there is no corner stone upon which to build illusion and the entire samsara evaporates. By elimination of the “I am the body” misconception, the bliss of beginningless and endless Being shines. The body does not cause the misidentification. For the real Self there is no misidentification, so what is this ignorance that tries to place itself in between?
