Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the One Self that alone exists eternally. Dialogues on discrimination and detachment, freedom from misidentification with a sick body, Self-inquiry and Grace, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad and in Tamil from chapter 35 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quotes from Satsang ******
Self-Inquiry is the prime means for the destruction of the ego, which is the root of all imagination or ignorance. It is the prime means because it is the only one that does not take for granted the existence of the ego. It does not take for granted the duality that one is trying to transcend. If inquiry is deep and continuous delusion becomes impossible. Where delusion is impossible that is your true abode. If delusion still seems as if still possible, inquire “Who is that? Who am I?” – inquire just like that.
