The initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction about Self-Knowledge, Self-inquiry, transcendence of the body, senses, mind, and ego notion. Dialogues on mantra-japa, Self-inquiry and happiness, freedom from ignorance and the “I”- notion, no second self, the indivisibility of the infinite Consciousness, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from Ashtavakra Samhita.
***** Satsang Quote *****
Questioner: The unreal comes forth when the mind moves.
Nome: And whose mind is it? If the mind is for “I” we cannot say that the "I" is a product of the mind. If there is no individual called "I" there is no separate thing called mind, nor any of its occurrences. The experienced always partakes of the nature of the experiencer. If there is an "I" there is "this," subtle or gross. If there is no "I" there is no "this" and the changeless Consciousness alone exists.
