Nome: Indivisible Being, undifferentiated Consciousness, difference-less Bliss is the nature of the Self. Unborn, ceaseless and indestructible. It ever changelessly is just as it is. There is no difference between yourself and the Self, for one Self alone exists eternally. Difference is merely illusion born of ignorance. So, the Agamas say that he who meditates with difference does so in delusion. Sankara says that one should meditate "I am Brahman. I am not different from Brahman". Meditation therefore should be of the nature of non-difference. The Maharshi's instruction to inquire "Who Am I?" is the perfect meditation of non-difference.
