Nome: In truth, meditation is upon the Self of the meditator. The nature of the Self is Sat-Chit-Ananda (Being-Conciousness-Bliss), which is infinite and eternal. If we think of our selves otherwise, such is only due to imagining the self to be what is not the self. That is, imagining yourself to be something objective. So then abandonment of the tendency to objectify, to conceive of the self as what is not, is meditation.
