Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction about the Light of Consciousness. Dialogues on two analogies found in the teachings of Sri Ramana and Vedanta, the eternal Light of the Self, the desire for happiness and the desire for Self-Realization, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Chandogya Upanishad and in Tamil from chapter 37 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quotes from Satsang ******
: All that is objective---the things, the perceptions, your thoughts---they shine by the light of Consciousness. They do not produce the Consciousness. Consciousness is self-existent and they are not so. Consciousness alone is self-existent so all your perceptions shine in the light of Consciousness, arising and disappearing in that, but the Consciousness does not depend on them. It exists unchanged before, during and after the perceptions and before, during and after life and before, during and after every thought and every state of mind. None of those are known apart from the Consciousness, but Consciousness is fine without them.
