Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the Self’s transcendence of any definition. Dialogues on illusion and responsibility, “being present” and the Reality of the Self, beyond preconception and the nature of Sri Bhagavan, intensity of Self-inquiry, changeless Being and Grace, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Ashtavakra Samhita and in Tamil from chapter 30 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quotes from Satsang ******
Present means what? Right now, is the Reality what is perceived through the senses or something else? Right now are you an embodied individual or something that transcends that? If there is a dream, the dream character has his responsibilities in it. If you wake up from the dream character and the dream world, the question of responsibility or irresponsibility no longer applies. Where there is neither “I” nor “this”, neither ego nor the world, how can there be talk of such? As long as you appear to be dreaming, your prime responsibility is to find your way to wake up. Thus Self-Realization is the most important responsibility one has in this life. It is a happy responsibility.
