Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the ever-full nature of Reality, the Self, the sacredness of the Maharshi’s teachings, and Self-Knowledge. Dialogues on thought and experience, the blessing of the timeless tradition, the proper orientation, God and oneself, the unimportance of thought and the lasting importance of Truth, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Ashtavakra Samhita and in Tamil from chapter 32 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quote from Satsang ******
But there is one thing that has not faded in all that time. It is not a thing and it is not a thought. What someone 100 thousand or 1 million years ago found when he turned within is exactly the same thing that you find now and likewise will it be ages into the future. The absolute reality is always the same and it transcends time. It is always the essence and being the fountain head of Bliss and Peace, it is always important…. The samsara consists in the delusive belief that the unimportant is important and the important unimportant. It takes the real to be unreal and the unreal to be real. If the Knowledge of such is clarified, there is no more samsara.
