Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on the Being-Consciousness-Bliss nature of the Self. Dialogues on peace and happiness, Self-inquiry, being free of misidentification with the body, the egoless Self, the perceiver and the perceived, and other spiritual topics. Concludes with a recitation in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Chandogya Upanishad and in Tamil from chapter 35 of the Song of Ribhu.
****** Quotes from Satsang ******
The individual seems to be like a knot that ties together the real and the unreal, the Self and the not Self. Remove from your sense of identity, through Knowledge, through inquiry, all that is objective because you cannot be an object to yourself. Negate all that seems to be known about you, so that the Knower stands alone, and see what remains of this individual “I” that supposedly ties together the real and unreal. Obviously, the connection between the real and the unreal cannot be real and an unreal connection does not actually exist, nevertheless, it is imagined to exist. That imagination rests in your sense of identity. So, inquire, “Who am I?”
